Fairy Lights Around the Pitch — Solar Lights as Decorative Garden Fencing
In 2024, we placed fairy lights around our pitch - on the one hand as a kind of fence, and at the same time to make it very cozy in the dark. Naturally, they're solar-powered. The fairy lights are hung about 50 cm above the ground with stylish stands.
For this, we use two 12-meter-long solar-powered LED fairy lights*, which are almost enough to go around our pitch once. During the day they act like a kind of fence, and in the dark we have stylish lighting. The fairy lights are waterproof, so they can hang outside permanently.
So that the fairy lights don’t lie on the ground, we use metal lantern stakes*, which are simply pushed into the ground. We lay the fairy lights over them. This can be done relatively cheaply and quickly.
The excess length at the back we simply attached to our garden shed, so this corner of the pitch is illuminated as well.
