Fairy Lights Around the Pitch
In 2024 we placed fairy lights around our pitch. On one hand as a kind of fence, but at the same time very cozy in the dark. Naturally powered by solar. The fairy lights are hung about 50 cm above the ground with stylish stands.
For this we use two 12-meter long solar-powered LED fairy lights*, which is almost enough to go around our pitch once. During the day it acts like a kind of fence and in the dark we have stylish lighting. The fairy lights are waterproof, so they can hang outside permanently.
So that the fairy lights don’t lie on the ground, we use metal lantern stakes* that are simply stuck into the ground. We lay the fairy lights over them. All of this can be implemented relatively cheaply and quickly.
The piece of fairy lights that was too long at the back, we simply attached to our garden shed, so we also have this corner of the pitch illuminated.
